Earlier this summer, Coach Crane landed her top target for Assistant Coach with WNBA veteran, Natasha Lacy.

She was later drafted to the Detroit Shock making her the first female in school history to achieve this honor. Lacy was later inducted into the El Paso Basketball Hall of Fame.
"I am extremely grateful to have had the game of basketball take me all around the world. I am honored to not only be able to share my experiences, but I am also looking forward to inspiring our young Pirates. I am really excited about the opportunity to work with Coach Crane and be a part of the Independence community. "
