INDEPENDENCE, Kan. - After one impactful season here at ICC, Sophomore Women’s Basketball guard Mimi White will take her talents to the NAIA, as she has committed to continue her academic and basketball career at in-state McPherson College, in McPherson, Kansas.
White, the Tulsa, Oklahoma product, made the most of her one season with the Pirates, as she appeared in 28 games, started 21, and averaged 9.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. Her 9.5 points per game was good for second on the team. She scored in double figures in half of her 28 appearances, highlighted by a pair of season high performances of 22 points against top national schools John A. Logan and New Mexico JC. White also had ten games where she made multiple three point shots, showcasing her effectiveness from the perimeter, where she was a 29% shooter on the year.
White will join Coach Alex Moorehead’s Bulldogs for the 2026-2027 season, as they look to rebound from an 8-20 season this past year. The Bulldogs compete in the KCAC conference, and got off to a great start last season before dropping their final 12 games.
